RINA is seeking a Construction Safety Senior Engineer in Genoa, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division. The role focuses on ensuring safety of construction operations, developing safety plans, and coordinating with engineers to implement risk controls across sites.

The candidate must be registered under Italian Law 68/99 and have at least 5 years of construction safety experience, with fluency in Italian.

Competenze

• Mandatory: Registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma in Construction, Environment or Civil Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction safety management
• Knowledge: OSHA/ANSI/NFPA standards; construction processes and risk assessment
• Training: CSP/CSE DLgs 81/08
• Languages: Fluent Italian required

Mansioni

• Identify, assess and mitigate safety construction risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Ensure construction activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular site inspections, develop corrective actions, and prepare reports
• Assist in development of project-specific safety plans and risk assessments
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, report findings and preventive measures
• Verify safety training for personnel and subcontractors
• Prepare emergency response plans for each construction site
• Perform risk assessments and propose control measures
• Verify safe use and maintenance of safety equipment and PPE
• Provide day-to-day support and oversight of project elements
• Collaborate with engineers on construction sites and develop project schedules
• Prepare or verify technical deliverables like Health Safety Plan and drawings
• Prepare progress technical reports
• Ensure activities align with RINA QMS and Quality Policy
