Job summary

Osmii is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead large-scale, mission-critical data center campus developments in the Greater Milan Area, Italy. The role is on-site and oversees end-to-end delivery from procurement through commissioning and handover, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

You will manage contractors and vendors, drive on-site governance, and champion risk mitigation with a focus on capacity delivery. Fluent English required; Italian is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressive construction management experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience managing multi-million euro packages with cost, schedule, and safety compliance.
• Strong command of project controls, gating procedures, and owner-operator standards.
• Fluent English; Italian is a strong advantage.

• End-to-End Delivery: Lead campus builds, fit-outs, and infrastructure expansions from procurement to commissioning and handover.

What You Will Do

• End-to-End Delivery: Lead major campus builds, fit-outs, and infrastructure expansions from procurement and tendering through to commissioning and handover.
• On-Site Governance: Serve as the single point of accountability on-site for quality, HSE standards, milestone tracking, and budget control.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Oversee general contractors, engineering consultants, and critical equipment procurement (HVAC, power systems, modular fit-outs).
• Optimization & Risk: Champion schedule integrity, risk mitigation, and digital construction tools to ensure predictable capacity delivery.

Profile We’re Looking For

• 7–10+ years of progressive construction management experience, specifically within data centers, pharmaceutical, industrial plants, or complex mission-critical environments.
• Proven track record managing multi-million euro packages with strict cost, schedule, and safety compliance.
• Strong command of modern project controls, gating procedures, and owner-operator standards.
• Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Italian is a strong advantage.
