Ogrc Ltd. in Milan, Italy, is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to support construction activities from the proposal phase through site mobilization.

You will coordinate with Project Management, Proposal, Procurement and Project Control to ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards. The role is integrated within the Construction & Commissioning Department, focusing on construction strategy, constructability, and coordination of home office activities until site

Competenze

• 8–10 years of experience in construction roles within EPC projects, preferably Oil & Gas or Energy.
• Proven experience in home office construction activities supporting projects from bidding to site mobilization.
• Strong involvement in proposal/tendering phase including construction planning, manpower estimation, cost analysis and technical bid evaluation.

• Actively support the Proposal Department during bidding, contributing to construction planning, manpower estimation, cost analysis and subcontractor evaluation.
• Perform technical alignment of subcontractor proposals during bidding and execution phases.
• Contribute to defining and consolidating construction strategy in line with scope, budget and contractual requirements.
• Review contractual documentation to ensure a fit-for-purpose construction execution approach.
• Provide inputs for project scheduling aligned with contractual milestones.
• Support the definition of construction manhours by discipline and work class.
• Coordinate home office construction activities for one or more projects until site mobilization.
• Promote and verify implementation of the constructability plan.
• Prepare and review key construction documentation including procedures, specifications, WRs, Site Mobilization Plans, andVendor Assistance Plans.

For one of our clients operating in the Oil & Gas EPC sector, we are looking to hire a Construction Engineer to be based in their head offices in Milan.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting construction activities from the proposal phase through to site mobilization, ensuring proper coordination and definition of construction strategies in line with project requirements, contractual obligations, and company standards.

The role is fully integrated within the Construction & Commissioning Department and requires close interaction with Project Management, Proposal, Procurement, and Project Control teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively support the Proposal Department during the bidding phase, contributing to construction planning, manpower estimation, cost analysis, and technical evaluation of subcontractors.
• Perform technical alignment of subcontractor proposals during both bidding and execution phases
• Contribute to the definition and consolidation of construction strategy in line with scope, budget and contractual requirements
• Review contractual documentation to ensure a fit-for-purpose construction execution approach
• Provide inputs for project scheduling, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones
• Support the definition of construction manhours by discipline and work class
• Coordinate home office construction activities for one or more projects until site mobilization

Requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Construction roles within EPC projects, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector
• Proven experience in home office construction activities, supporting projects from bidding phase through to site mobilization
• Solid involvement in proposal / tendering phase, including construction planning, manpower estimation, cost analysis and technical bid evaluation
• Strong understanding of constructability processes and construction execution strategies
• Experience in construction manhours estimation and coordination with Project Control
• Hands-on experience in technical evaluation and management of subcontractors
• Ability to review contractual documentation and translate it into practical construction execution approaches
• Previous site experience is considered a strong plus

You will be based in Milan, Italy (with availability for occasional travel if required).
