Sompo is seeking a Senior Claims Handler Casualty for our Italian Claims team in Milan. The role focuses on managing domestic and multinational casualty claims with high technical expertise and professional standards.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder management, regulatory knowledge, and fluency in English to support regional growth and flagship client service across Continental Europe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Casualty claims handling.
• Strong technical expertise in Casualty claims including liability, bodily injury, property damage.
• Cost control and recovery focus.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to Casualty claims.
• Fluent business English required; additional languages a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage domestic and multinational casualty claims with technical excellence.
• Build relationships with customers, brokers, underwriters and service providers.
• Support portfolio development and loss prevention across Continental Europe.
• Investigate and resolve claims in a timely manner to reduce exposure.
