Micron Technology in Italy is seeking a CAD senior engineer to optimize and simulate complex analog and digital circuits, contributing to state-of-the-art memory products. You will develop unique design flows to boost productivity and reduce pre-silicon failures.

The role collaborates with design, verification, and layout teams and is based in Italy. A strong background in circuit simulation, EDA tools, and programming is required; familiarity with AI-assisted automation is a plus.

Competenze

Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work in global cross-functional teams.
Excellent programming fundamentals are required.
Experience in circuit simulation.
Experience with Unix and shell scripting is highly preferred.
2-5 years of related work experience.
Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or similar.

Innovating to develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase design efficiency and quality of memory designs on NAND.
Providing training, documentation, and support to end-users on new tools and methods.
Collaborating closely with design, verification, layout teams, and EDA vendors.
Agentic flow implementation using AI-assisted workflows, applying copilot based assistants, agentic AI flows, and rule aware automation to circuit simulation & verification.
