Job summary

Micron Technology in Italy is seeking a CAD senior engineer to optimize and simulate complex analog and digital circuits, contributing to state-of-the-art memory products. You will develop unique design flows to boost productivity and reduce pre-silicon failures.

The role collaborates with design, verification, and layout teams and is based in Italy. A strong background in circuit simulation, EDA tools, and programming is required; familiarity with AI-assisted automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work in global cross-functional teams.
• Excellent programming fundamentals are required.
• Experience in circuit simulation.
• Experience with Unix and shell scripting is highly preferred.
• 2-5 years of related work experience.
• Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Innovating to develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase design efficiency and quality of memory designs on NAND.
• Providing training, documentation, and support to end-users on new tools and methods.
• Collaborating closely with design, verification, layout teams, and EDA vendors.
• Agentic flow implementation using AI-assisted workflows, applying copilot based assistants, agentic AI flows, and rule aware automation to circuit simulation & verification.
