Webuild S.p.A. is seeking a Senior Buyer for Materials and Permanent Systems based in Milan. The role supports global procurement strategies and manages supplier negotiations to optimize costs and lead times in a hybrid work arrangement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a similar role within multinational contexts, a specialist degree in Engineering/Economy/Business Management, and strong skills in market analysis, MS Office, and SAP MM. Travel to projects and joint ventures is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the same role in multinational contexts.
• Specialist degree in Engineering/Economy/Business Management.
• Market analysis and benchmarking skills.
• Supply base selection, development and management.
• Capable of carrying out prime cost driver value analyses.
• Excellent mastery of MS Office, SAP MM.
• Available to travel and stay to/at worksites and joint ventures.
• ERP(SAP) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent System goods with the Global Commodity Manager.
• Manage the sourcing process including supplier list creation, RFPs, and negotiations to optimize cost, synergy, quality, and lead time.
• Contribute to Procurement Commodity team objectives and company policies compliance.
• Analyze offers with technical checks and prepare summary tables and recommendations.
• Draft terms and conditions of agreements/purchase orders with Legal/Contract departments.
• Support supplier relationships in line with the Code of Ethics and anti-corruption model.
• Assist Regional Supply Chain and Procurement Managers in planning for operational units.
• Support bidding and startup teams during bidding phase.

• SupportingtheGlobalCommodityManagerandcoordinatingwithbuyersofone'sUnit,todefinethestrategyfor procuringMaterial&PermanentSystemsgoods;
• SupportingandbeinginchargefortheoverallSourcingProcessincludingDefiningtheSupplierListintheVendorList, preparingtherequestforproposaltosend tosuppliers,andmanagingcommercialandcontractual negotiationactivitieswiththeidentifiedsuppliers,to pursuethefollowingtargets:inexpensiveness, synergy,qualitativeexcellenceandleadtimeoptimization;
• ContributingtotheCompanyandProcurementCommodityteamobjectives;
• EnsurecompliancewithGlobalSupplyChainandCompanyPolicies;
• Analyzing,comparingandassessingtheoffersreceivedbysuppliers,alsoguaranteeingthattheyaretechnicallycheckedbyrequestingCorporate Departments/OperationalUnits.Also,preparingsummarytablesofthefinaloffersandrecommendations;

Contractual Terms and Compensation

• Annual Gross Salary: 55.000- 60.000;
