RINA is seeking a Senior BMS Engineer to join its Civil Engineering division in Genoa or Catania. The role focuses on designing and developing instrumentation and control systems for buildings, with emphasis on data center facilities, covering the full project lifecycle.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, prepare specifications, support construction, verification, and commissioning, and ensure BMS and electrical systems meet technical and regulatory standards while collaborating with

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in building engineering.
• Strong ability in designing and developing building management systems within MEP for data centers, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low‑voltage systems.
• Proficiency in designing critical electrical infrastructure for data centers, including UPS systems, generators, and redundancy configurations (TIER levels).
• Familiarity with international and local electrical codes and building regulations for electrical and BMS design.
• Understanding of EU Smart Readiness Indicator methodology, EPBD, EN 15232 / EN ISO 52120 standards for Building Automation and Control Systems.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural teams and with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional engineering teams and contribute to collaborative problem‑solving environments.

• Lead conceptual and detailed design of BMS and electrical infrastructure for data centers across full project lifecycle.
