Saipem in Milan seeks a Senior BIM Specialist to lead architectural, structural and MEP modelling on energy and infrastructure projects. You will author, coordinate and QA BIM models using Revit and Tekla, aligning with OpenBIM standards and project needs while supporting multidisciplinary teams through the design lifecycle.

The role offers a permanent contract in a hybrid work model with opportunities to travel abroad.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering.
• At least five years as Senior BIM Specialist within Oil & Gas sector.
• Experience with Revit model authoring for Architectural/MEP and OpenBIM standards.

Mansioni

Purpose of the position

As a Senior BIM Specialist for Building Design, you will respond to the BUILD Department and be part of the Energy Carriers Business Line.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• BIM Model Authoring and Quality Assurance: Ability to independently develop, manage and verify Architectural, Structural and MEP BIM models using Revit and/or Tekla, ensuring compliance with OpenBIM best practices, project requirements, required Levels of Information, and intended BIM uses.
• Technical Support and Multidisciplinary Coordination: Ability to guide and support Architectural, Structural and MEP specialists, external suppliers and subcontractors in the development and validation of BIM models, ensuring alignment with project standards, requirements and BIM objectives.
• BIM Standards, Libraries and Process Automation: Ability to develop and maintain Revit libraries, families, templates, project settings and Dynamo scripts to enhance company standards, improve productivity, streamline modeling processes and increase overall design quality.
• BIM Management and Project Implementation Support: Ability to support BIM Managers and BIM Coordinators in defining BIM authoring best practices, preparing EIRs and BEPs, developing interoperable data models, assessing project risks and ensuring effective BIM implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Coordination, Leadership and Continuous Improvement: Ability to coordinate, monitor and schedule BIM design activities performed by external parties, proactively collaborate with project teams to achieve project objectives, and continuously enhance BIM competencies in line with industry developments and best practices.

What are we looking for?

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering

Experience

at least five years as a Senior BIM Specialist whitin Oil & Gas Sector.

Specific experience in the design by Autodesk Revit model authoring for Architectural/MEP at any Level of Development and specific knowledge of international OpenBIM standards are required.

• Advanced knowledge of up-to date Model Authoring tecniques and best practice with Revit and/or Tekla for Architectural, structural and MEP Informative Modelling applied on Industrial Building;
• Good knowledge of Multidisciplinary process by Information Modelling for building design;
• Strong Experience in the use of International OpenBIM Standards with particulary attention to use .Ifc and .bcf is required;
• Good skills using CDE (such as Autodesk Construction Cloud);
• Basic skills using BIM Coordination Software (such as Navisworks, Solibri) are preferred;
• Basic understanding of Intellectual Property Protection and Data Security;

Languages

B2 minimum

Technical/IT Skills

• Knowledge of Dynamo and basic Python for BIM automation and process efficiency.
• Experience with COBie, IFC data exchanges and information deliveries to Client requirements.
• Knowledge of industrial building systems, HVAC, water and fire-fighting networks, electrical and telecom systems and compressed air networks.
