Moneyfarm is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Partners Engineering team. You will own backend services and end-to-end features for our B2B2C platform, collaborating on product gateways, data exchange, and billing. You’ll work with the Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager, occasionally leading technical streams within the team.

You will mentor juniors, contribute to architectural decisions, and help drive scalable, secure systems for fintech partnerships.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Java or Go.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate daily development.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach enabled by AI.
• Solid experience building and operating microservices in production.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Effective debugging techniques and observability tools.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex projects.
• A product mindset and good cross-functional communication.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for the Partners B2B platform.
• Implement API integrations with partner banks and third-party providers.
• Lead specific technical streams with minimal oversight.
