Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer – Data Core in Italy to design and operate the infrastructure powering a large-scale creator data platform.

You will own end-to-end backend systems, from shaping architecture to deployment, with a remote-first, async culture that values autonomy. You will work with 400M+ creator profiles across major social platforms, addressing reliability, freshness and scale, while optimizing costs and performance in a cloud-based environment using AWS,

Competenze

• Proven experience building large-scale backend or data systems where reliability, throughput, latency, scalability and cost are important.

Mansioni

• Own backend systems from architecture to deployment, monitoring and iteration.
• Design resilient services to handle external dependencies, API instability and outages.
• Build observability, alerting and data-quality controls to keep production reliable.
