Job summary

Oversonic Robotics is seeking a mid/senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the core backend of our cognitive platform. You will tackle distributed systems, real-time channels, and high-performance computing to power the robot’s brain.

You will collaborate with robotics engineers and infrastructure teams, implement scalable APIs, and contribute to CI/CD and cloud-ready deployments in a hi-tech robotics environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with asyncio, multithreading, and multiprocessing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
• Implement and optimize concurrent systems using asyncio, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
• Architect and build distributed system components.
• Develop and manage real-time communication channels using WebSockets and Pub/Sub messaging systems.
• Write clean, well-documented code and perform code reviews.
