Kanadevia Inova, a global innovation leader in the waste infrastructure space, seeks an experienced Senior PLC/Automation Engineer to program from scratch and maintain Siemens-based PLC software and HMI applications (TIA Portal, WinCC, Step 7). You will collaborate with R&D and Service to advance software and hardware solutions, review specifications and RFQ documents, and configure networking devices.

English and Italian fluency is required; German and French are advantageous.

Competenze

• 8+ years' experience with Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal, Step 7, WinCC).
• Master or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and P&ID.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach, ability to make decisions.
• Fluency in English and Italian; German and French are advantageous.

Mansioni

• Programming from scratch, maintenance and update of existing PLC software and HMI application, mainly based on Siemens platforms (TIA Portal, WinCC, Step 7).
• Continuous development and improvement of Kanadevia Inova software and hardware solutions in cooperation with the R&D and Service department.
• Review of technical specifications and RFQ documentation to ensure accuracy, conformance with norms and codes and client specifications.
• Configuration of Networking devices (Managed switches, routers, DMZ routers, firewalls).
• Factory Acceptance Testing and commissioning of KVI PLC systems both on site and remote.

Job Description

• Programming from scratch, maintenance and update of existing PLC software and HMI application, mainly based on Siemens platforms (TIA Portal, WinCC, Step 7)

Compensation

Basic wage component (gross): 48000 euros per year
