Anaergia in Bergamo, Italy seeks an Applications Engineer to design, budget, and propose tailored plant solutions aligned with customer needs and company guidelines. The role involves developing offers from standard designs, validating costs, and coordinating with the global Chief Engineer and sales to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement of technical and economic solutions.

The candidate will contribute to training of agents, update cost databases, and explore alternative

Competenze

A degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum five years in the role of Application Engineer or Proposal Engineer.
Knowledge of anaerobic digestion and waste treatment technologies.
Proficient in English (read, write, speak).
Strong Excel skills.

Mansioni

Define the process, size the system, estimate CAPEX and OPEX.
Request the approval of the design from the global Chief Engineer.
Process the offer by identifying plant solutions that allow the use of technology from the parent company;
Search for alternative technologies and suppliers, discuss with the global Chief Engineer to validate new solutions.
Update the offers database for both the company and the parent company.
Acquire feedback from Anaergia plants and visit competitors' plants to verify issues or find better solutions.
Maintenance and updating of the cost database.
Help the customer understand their needs and the Anaergia proposal through agent training or communications plan.
