Sistemi e servizi di compressione Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Application Engineer to support the sales team by preparing technical and commercial proposals in Isola Vicentina. You will evaluate customer requirements, size equipment, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially competitive.

You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Service teams while developing expertise in gas compression technologies,

Competenze

• Technical education in Industrial Technologies or Mechanical field.
• English language at B2 level.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• High degree of autonomy and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Mansioni

• Analyze customer specifications, RFQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations.
• Perform equipment selection and preliminary sizing of compressors, motors, inverters, chillers, filters, heat exchangers, and related components.
• Develop cost calculations, price comparisons, and support price list optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation including datasheets, proposal drawings, and commercial offer documents.
• Provide technical support to Sales Managers during customer discussions and project development.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service departments to ensure proposal feasibility and accuracy.
• Review customer specifications and identify deviations, risks, and technical clarifications.
• Support order handover activities and definition of project requirements upon order acquisition.
• Maintain and update reference lists, technical databases, and proposal tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes, tools, and technical standards.

Job Summary

The Application Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales organization through the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. The role involves the evaluation of customer requirements, selection and sizing of equipment, preparation of quotations, technical documentation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with customer expectations.

The Application Engineer will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Service teams while developing expertise in gas compression technologies, process applications, and Adicomp product lines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications, RFQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations
• Perform equipment selection and preliminary sizing of compressors, motors, inverters, chillers, filters, heat exchangers, and related components.
• Develop cost calculations, price comparisons, and support the optimization of company price lists.
• Prepare technical documentation including datasheets, proposal drawings, and commercial offer documents.

Basic Qualifications

• Preferably some type of technical education, either intermediate or higher level (preferably in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical, or High school Diploma).
• Languages: English level B2,
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High degree of autonomy, while also capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site-based at Isola Vicentina (VI).
