Hitachi Energy is seeking an applications engineer for eMobility to develop optimized charging solutions for public and commercial transport. You will translate customer needs into system architectures and coordinate with Sales, Tendering, and engineering teams across Europe.

The role requires 5 years in power systems engineering, a degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems emphasis, and fluent English.

Competenze

• 5 years of experience in application/power systems engineering.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on power systems.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional European language is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Engage with customers early to understand needs and site constraints.
• Develop high-level technical concepts for charging infrastructure and system architecture.
• Translate requirements into optimized technical offers and coordinate with tender/factory teams.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, study scopes, and customer materials.
• Coordinate with internal specialists on power-system studies, grid connection, and energy management.
• Support product management with market insights to improve offerings.
• Contribute to workshops, events, and knowledge sharing across locations.
