Job summary

msg Group cerca un esperto in design e delivery di AI produttiva su SAP. Sarai responsabile dell'architettura, della delivery da concetto a produzione e dell'integrazione con SAP BTP, AI Core e Generative AI Hub.

Lavorerai con consulenti e stakeholder per trasformare processi in casi utilizzabili, mantenendo osservabilità, guardrail e costi sotto controllo. È richiesta molta esperienza in sviluppo software in produzione e padronanza di Python e JavaScript/TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 5+ anni di esperienza nello sviluppo software in produzione.
• 2+ anni di esperienza in AI/ML o sistemi basati su LLM utilizzati da utenti reali.
• Esperienza pratica con SAP BTP (AI Core, Generative AI Hub, CAP, HANA Cloud).
• Conoscenza di dati e processi S/4HANA.
• Padronanza di Python e JavaScript/TypeScript per servizi CAP/Node.
• Conoscenza di RAG e ingegneria degli agenti (chunking, retrieval, orchestrazione).
• Conoscenza di vincoli aziendali: autorizzazioni, data residency, auditabilità, PII.
• Capacità di comunicare decisioni tecniche a clienti/stakeholder senza gergo.
• Inglese fluente; tedesco è un plus.

Responsibilities

• Design e delivery di AI produttiva su SAP landscapes con ownership architetturale.
• Costruire soluzioni AI su SAP BTP usando AI Core, Generative AI Hub e AI Foundation dallo concept alla produzione.
• Creare agenti personalizzati e estendere Joule Studio.
• Implementare retrieval-augmented generation sui dati aziendali (HANA Cloud, Datasphere, Knowledge Graph).
• Sviluppare livelli di applicazione/integrazione (CAP services, OData APIs, SAP Integration Suite).
• Guidare selezione modelli, progettazione prompt, valutazione e trade-off costi/latenza.
• Stabilire harness di valutazione, osservabilità e guardrails per comportamento agente misurabile.
• Lavorare entro clean-core e ABAP Cloud; promuovere pattern di estensione appropriati.
• Collaborare con consulenti funzionali e stakeholder per definire use cases realizzabili.
• Mentorare ingegneri per migliorare qualità codice, testing e delivery.

Overview

In this role you design and ship production AI on SAP landscapes, owning architecture and delivery from concept to production. You build AI on SAP BTP with AI Core and Generative AI Hub, and create custom agents and retrieval systems that scale with enterprise governance. You collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to turn vague processes into buildable use cases, while ensuring observability, guardrails, and cost-effective performance. You shape how data-driven AI transforms business operations in large enterprises.

Responsabilità

• Design and deliver production AI on SAP landscapes with architecture ownership
• Build AI solutions on SAP BTP using AI Core, Generative AI Hub, and AI Foundation from concept to production
• Create custom agents and extend Joule Studio capabilities
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation over enterprise data (HANA Cloud, Datasphere, Knowledge Graph)
• Develop application/integration layers (CAP services, OData APIs, SAP Integration Suite)
• Lead model selection, prompt design, evaluation, and cost/latency trade-offs
• Establish evaluation harnesses, observability, and guardrails for measurable agent behavior
• Work within clean-core and ABAP Cloud constraints; advocate appropriate extension patterns
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to scope buildable use cases
• Mentor engineers to improve code quality, testing, and delivery practices

Requisiti fondamentali

• 5+ years building software in production
• 2+ years shipping AI/ML or LLM-based systems used by real users
• Hands-on SAP BTP experience (AI Core, Generative AI Hub, CAP, HANA Cloud)
• Understanding of S/4HANA data and processes
• Strong Python plus JavaScript/TypeScript for CAP/Node services
• Practical RAG and agent engineering (chunking, retrieval, tool calling, orchestration)
• Knowledge of enterprise constraints: authorizations, data residency, auditability, PII handling
• Ability to communicate technical decisions to customers or stakeholders without jargon
• Fluent English; German a plus
