Job summary

msg Group cerca un esperto di AI production per progettare e consegnare soluzioni su SAP landscape, guidando dall'ideazione alla produzione. Sarà responsabile di architettura, integrazione CAP/Node e orchestrazione di agenti per casi d’uso complessi.

Il candidato ideale possiede oltre 5 anni di sviluppo software in produzione e almeno 2 anni di esperienza in AI/ML o sistemi basati su LLM con utenti reali, oltre a SAP BTP (AI Core, Generative AI Hub, CAP) e conoscenza di S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• ;5+ anni di sviluppo software in produzione.
• ;2+ anni di shipping di AI/ML o sistemi basati su LLM utilizzati da utenti reali.
• Hands-on SAP BTP experience (AI Core, Generative AI Hub, CAP, HANA Cloud).
• Understanding of S/4HANA data and processes.
• Strong Python plus JavaScript/TypeScript for CAP/Node services.
• Practical RAG e agent engineering (chunking, retrieval, tool calling, orchestration).
• Conoscenza delle restrizioni aziendali: autorizzazioni, residenza dati, auditability, handling di PII.
• Capacità di comunicare decisioni tecniche ai clienti o stakeholder senza gergo.
• Fluent English; tedesco è un plus.

Responsibilities

• Progetta e consegna AI di produzione su SAP landscapes con ownership dell'architettura.
• Costruisci soluzioni AI su SAP BTP utilizzando AI Core, Generative AI Hub e CAP dalla fase concettuale alla produzione.
• Crea agenti personalizzati ed estendi Joule Studio.
• Implementa retrieval-augmented generation sui dati aziendali (HANA Cloud, Datasphere, Knowledge Graph).
• Sviluppa livelli di applicazione/integrazione (CAP services, OData APIs, SAP Integration Suite).
• Guida la selezione dei modelli, il design dei prompt, la valutazione e trade-off di costo/latenza.
• Stabilisci harnesses di valutazione, observability e guardrails per comportamenti prevedibili degli agenti.
• Lavora nel contesto di clean-core e ABAP Cloud; promuovi estension patterns adeguati.
• Collabora con consulenti funzionali e stakeholder per definire use case realizzabili.
• Mentorare ingegneri per migliorare qualità del codice, test e delivery.

Overview

In this role you design and ship production AI on SAP landscapes, owning architecture and delivery from concept to production. You build AI on SAP BTP with AI Core and Generative AI Hub, and create custom agents and retrieval systems that scale with enterprise governance. You collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to turn vague processes into buildable use cases, while ensuring observability, guardrails, and cost-effective performance. You shape how data-driven AI transforms business operations in large enterprises.

Responsabilità

• Design and deliver production AI on SAP landscapes with architecture ownership
• Build AI solutions on SAP BTP using AI Core, Generative AI Hub, and AI Foundation from concept to production
• Create custom agents and extend Joule Studio capabilities
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation over enterprise data (HANA Cloud, Datasphere, Knowledge Graph)
• Develop application/integration layers (CAP services, OData APIs, SAP Integration Suite)
• Lead model selection, prompt design, evaluation, and cost/latency trade-offs
• Establish evaluation harnesses, observability, and guardrails for measurable agent behavior
• Work within clean-core and ABAP Cloud constraints; advocate appropriate extension patterns
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to scope buildable use cases
• Mentor engineers to improve code quality, testing, and delivery practices

Requisiti fondamentali

• 5+ years building software in production
• 2+ years shipping AI/ML or LLM-based systems used by real users
• Hands-on SAP BTP experience (AI Core, Generative AI Hub, CAP, HANA Cloud)
• Understanding of S/4HANA data and processes
• Strong Python plus JavaScript/TypeScript for CAP/Node services
• Practical RAG and agent engineering (chunking, retrieval, tool calling, orchestration)
• Knowledge of enterprise constraints: authorizations, data residency, auditability, PII handling
• Ability to communicate technical decisions to customers or stakeholders without jargon
