Nivara in Piemonte, Italy, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own the technical direction of AI projects, taking complex problems from idea to production while upholding privacy-first principles.

You will lead end-to-end initiatives, mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and translate research into shipped capabilities, collaborating across Product, Applied Research, and Engineering.

Competenze

• 4–5+ years of hands-on ML and software engineering, with production experience.
• Experience leading complex AI projects from idea to production.
• Deep expertise in modern deep learning and generative AI (transformers, LoRA/PEFT, RAG, inference optimization).
• Strong Python programming, data structures, and MLOps practices (CI/CD, containerisation).

Mansioni

• Architect, build, and train bespoke AI models for privacy-first environments.
• Lead end-to-end AI projects, from scoping to production deployment.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and raise team-wide quality standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Applied Research, and Engineering to align research with shipping.
