Domyn is seeking an experienced AI Cloud Engineer to join our Milan team and help shape Colosseum, our flagship AI supercomputer project. You will build, operate, and optimize the Domyn AI cloud stack powering our services.

You will collaborate with Platform and SRE teams to integrate cloud with hardware, design scalable AI platform architectures, and drive MLOps, security, and performance across our HPC infrastructure. Fluency in English required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Cloud AI Engineer or in similar roles.
• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven experience designing perimeter-facing cybersecurity controls.
• Experience designing scalable and secure AI platform architectures.
• Experience with Run:ai or similar AI workload orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on with MLOps practices and tools for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Strong experience with NVIDIA Dynamo-Triton and other AI inference platforms.
• Expertise with NVIDIA AI technologies including NIM, NeMo, KV Cache services.
• Proficiency in Python and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies.

We are looking for an experienced AI Cloud Engineer to join our growing team in Milan and help shape the future of our flagship project, Colosseum, one of Europe’s most powerful AI supercomputers, currently in development.

Designed to run our proprietary AI models at scale, it forms the compute backbone behind the intelligence we deliver to the world’s most demanding industries.

In this role, you will develop, operate, and support the Domyn AI cloud stack that powers our user-facing services. You will work closely with Platform Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers to integrate the cloud platform with the underlying hardware and system components, ensuring a seamless and high-performance infrastructure.

As part of the team, you will design and manage large-scale, high-performance computing systems that support the computational needs of the organization. You will collaborate with researchers, developers, and engineers to ensure our HPC infrastructure meets the demands of cutting-edge AI workloads and consistently delivers optimal performance.

What You Have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Cloud AI Engineer or in similar roles.
• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing perimeter-facing cybersecurity controls.
• Experience designing scalable and secure AI platform architectures.
• Experience with Run:ai or similar AI workload orchestration and job scheduling frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps practices and tools for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Strong experience with AI inference platforms, including NVIDIA Dynamo-Triton.
• Expertise with NVIDIA AI technologies, including NVIDIA NIM, NVIDIA NeMo, KV Cache services
• Solid understanding of MCP/A2A or equivalent
• Proficiency in Python and experience with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with containerization and GPU orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Experience with Generative AI technologies

We offer a competitive salary, as well as an opportunity to receive company equity. The typical salary for this role ranges between € 55.000 and € 75.000. As you gain experience and make more significant contributions to the business, your compensation will be reviewed to match your impact. Additionally, depending on your seniority and your performance, you\'ll have the opportunity to receive stock options, with a variable value calculated from your base salary, giving you the chance to directly participate in the company’s success.
