Zeeco designs and manufactures advanced combustion and environmental solutions; the Italian HQ is in Cinisello Balsamo (MI). Zeeco is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen the Finance team with a strong operational profile and focus on general ledger, payroll and T&E accounting, tax operations and fixed assets, supporting the close process.

The role reports to the Head of Finance Italy. Ideal candidates have 6–10 years in operational accounting, ERP experience (SAGE, SAP, Oracle) and fluent

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
• 6–10 years in operational accounting, audit, or similar environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in general ledger accounting and financial close activities.
• Solid operational experience with payroll accounting, T&E accounting, tax postings and reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Practical experience with ERP systems (SAGE, SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills.
• High attention to detail with structured, reliable execution.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in a team-based, international environment.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level), written and spoken.

Mansioni

• General ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines and accuracy.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for closing and reporting purposes.
• Payroll costs postings, social charges, and related balance sheet accounts; coordination with external providers.
• Manage T&E accounting and reconciliations; ensure postings align with the GL.
• Support tax-related operational accounting activities, including postings and reconciliations with external providers.
• Fixed assets accounting: capitalization, depreciation, disposals, reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and documentation.
• Interface for AP and AR; reconcile subledgers with GL; supporting audits with documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and tooling.
