Job summary

Kanadevia Inova, a global leader in waste-to-X technologies, seeks an experienced accounting lead for the Italian entity. You will oversee accounting activities performed by the Shared Service Center, ensuring compliance with Italian GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.

The role involves supervising VAT and cross-border submissions and liaising with customers and suppliers on invoicing and reconciliation. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 10+ years in multinational settings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or multinational organization using a Shared Service Center model.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Practical experience with Italian VAT compliance, including international VAT reporting and cross-border transactions.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Italian GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
• Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Ensure effective internal controls, support compliance with Model 231 requirements, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Supervise VAT reporting, tax submissions, and cross-border compliance activities, including Intrastat where applicable.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding invoicing, payment status, and account reconciliations.

Job Description

You’ll act as the primary accounting reference for the Italian entity, overseeing accounting activities performed by the Shared Service Center. Your tasks will be:

• Ensure compliance with Italian GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
• Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Ensure effective internal controls, support compliance with Model 231 requirements, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Supervise VAT reporting, tax submissions, and cross-border compliance activities, including Intrastat where applicable.

Compensation
