Job summary

Supernova Group is seeking an Accountant in Milan to join our dynamic finance team. The role involves handling bank transactions, postings, reconciliations, and collaborating with external advisors to support monthly closes.

You will contribute to improving accounting processes within a growing international group. The ideal candidate has a degree in economics/finance, 2–4 years of accounting experience, and strong Italian and English language skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance or similar.
• 2–4 years accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of Italian accounting and VAT principles.
• Good Excel skills.
• Hands-on, precise and willing to learn.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Native or fluent Italian and strong command of English.

Responsibilities

• Manage bank transactions and cash reconciliations.
• Post and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Verify and book incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Monitor and follow up invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Support monthly closing activities with external advisors.
• Interact with suppliers, customers, and external advisors on accounting matters.
• Support setup and improvement of accounting and administrative processes.
• Gradually assume responsibility over selected accounting areas.

• Managing interactions with suppliers, customers, and external advisors on accounting matters
• Supporting the setup and improvement of accounting and administrative processes
• Gradual assumption of responsibility over selected accounting areas
