Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems onboard.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance and conduct drills.
• Participate in emergency response as a key team member.
• Maintain logs of maintenance, parts inventory, and fuel/oil consumption.
• Support and train junior engineers and engine crew.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer on vessel operations and planning.
• Provide technical support to crew for safe, efficient operations.
