NACOS Marine is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our field service team, specializing in automation systems aboard cruise and merchant vessels. You will perform troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and on-site repairs, traveling internationally about 60% of the time and coordinating with our technical office and customers to meet delivery and quality goals.

Fluency in English is required, Italian is a bonus, and the role offers hands-on responsibility in a global maritime

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ service or commissioning experience on board cruise and merchant vessels.
Strong understanding of marine automation systems.
Fluent in English; Italian is an advantage.
Willingness to travel internationally approximately 60% of time.

Responsabilités

Perform field service activities on board vessels according to the work plan.
Troubleshoot equipment, test, fine tune, and adjust as needed.
Lead and coordinate a team during work execution when required.
Install and pre-commissioning checks; hand over equipment to customer/shipyard.
Prepare accurate service reports and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
Advise customers on available products and solutions.
