Competenze

• University degree in finance, economics, business administration or accounting.
• Minimum 5 years in Controlling, FP&A or related finance roles, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, reporting and variances.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP experience a plus.

Sales & Marketing Controller Italy & Switzerland

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Controller based in Legnano to join our Personal Care & Consumer Tissue Business Unit and help drive profitable growth, financial transparency, and informed decision‑making for Italy and Switzerland within the Region Central‑South.

As a key finance business partner, you will support Sales & Marketing teams through financial planning, performance analysis, and actionable insights. You will work closely with Sales & Marketing stakeholders, contribute to regional projects, and help shape a more efficient and data‑driven organization.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Sales & Marketing Controller, you will oversee forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis across the two markets, ensuring high‑quality financial support for both operational and strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with local and regional teams to identify improvement opportunities, enhance controlling processes, and support major initiatives and digital transformation programs.

What You Will Do

• Financial Closing & Reporting: Support the monthly closing process by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing meaningful insights into performance, trends, variances, and key business drivers
• Planning & Forecasting: Lead forecasting activities by delivering reliable financial outlooks, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to support business objectives and improve financial performance
• Business Partnering & Commercial Support: Act as a trusted finance partner to Sales, Marketing, and cross‑functional stakeholders, providing data‑driven insights, profitability analysis, and recommendations to support commercial initiatives and business decision‑making
• Performance Management: Monitor financial and operational KPIs to evaluate business performance, enhance transparency, and identify opportunities to drive efficiency, value creation, and profitable growth
• Audit, Governance & Compliance: Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits while ensuring adherence to financial policies, reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Continuous Improvement & Capability Building: Drive the continuous improvement of controlling processes, reporting tools, and ways of working while promoting financial awareness and sharing knowledge across the organization through training and stakeholder engagement

Who You Are

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
• Proven experience of minimum 5 years in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance or a similar finance role, preferably within FMCG, Consumer Goods or a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of financial controlling fundamentals, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, working capital and accounting principles
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations
• You combine a strong sense of ownership with a pragmatic and can‑do attitude, enabling you to effectively manage challenges and deliver results in a changing environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SAP; experience with SAP 4/HANA and knowledge of Power BI are considered a plus
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and support change management initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset
• Fluent in English and Italian, and excited about working in an international environment
• You demonstrate a collaborative mindset, take ownership, embrace challenges and build strong relationships across functions
