Job summary

GF SpA, part of Coesia, is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales activities in assigned business units and region to meet budget goals. You will develop existing and new customers, collaborate with the technical department to evaluate client needs and prepare commercial offers, and coordinate agents for regional coverage.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanic/Automation or related field, at least 5 years in a similar role, and fluent English.

About the Role

Sales Engineer is responsible for the development and the performance of all sales activities in assigned business units and region in order to achieve sales results in line with commercial and budget goals.

In particular this profile is responsible for:

• Sales strategy: Implements the sales strategy and manages sales processes in order to consolidate and develop business results by achieving assigned budgeted results.
• Business development: Responsible for existing and new customers’ development and supports the development and implementation of marketing plans if needed; maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales and activities related to his business and customers.
• Offering: Collaborates with the technical department in order to evaluate client requirements, to conduct technical negotiations and to prepare commercial offers consistent with Company capabilities.
• Sales management: Coordinate the agents in the area and deal the direct customers and support Agents in standard proposals, if required.

What You Need to Be Successful

Suitable candidate will be self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and also able to work well within a team. Good communication skills are essential.

• Bachelor’s and master’s Degree in one of the following fields: Mechanic, Automation or similar fields.
• Previous experience in the role of at least 5 years, preferably in pharmaceutical companies.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Our Offer

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 40.800, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.

A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.

The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
