Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient Excel skills (intermediate or higher) within MS Office.
• Interest in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Administration of buy-back sales (RAC vehicles) to the National Sales Company (VGI).
• Communicate sales results and confirm winning bidders (local sales process).
• Monitor and control incoming payments (local sales process).
• Support credit checks on buyers (local sales process).
• Assist in the release of sold vehicles (local sales process).
• Assist ownership transfer and invoicing activities (local sales process).
• Assist back-office activities like self-billing, vehicle registration record checks and customer data updates.
• Coordinate with buyers and external stakeholders.
• Support management of severely damaged vehicles and wrecks.
• Support in B2C sales processes.

Description

• The intern will support the Remarketing Team in achieving its business objectives by contributing to activities related to the end-of-contract phase of rental and leasing vehicles and their subsequent sales.
• Under the guidance of the Sales Administration and Local Sales Team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in administrative and after-sales processes related to vehicles owned by Volkswagen Bank and Volkswagen Leasing.
