Caracol Am cerca un Ingegnere Software Robotico per validare, testare e supportare i software impiegati nei sistemi di produzione additiva.

Il ruolo prevede attività di troubleshooting, validazione software e supporto diretto ai clienti, con interazioni con i team di Customer Success, Engineering e R&D.

Competenze

• Laurea o diploma ITS in Automazione Industriale o campo correlato.
• 1–3 anni di esperienza in testing e validazione software, e supporto tecnico.
• Esperienza in Additive Manufacturing è un plus.
• Patente di guida e auto propria.
• Fluenza in inglese e italiano.

Mansioni

• Eseguire test e validazione software sui sistemi di produzione additiva.
• Effettuare test robotici di stampa 3D per validare toolpath e qualità.
• Supportare il team di SLA e field engineering in problemi software di livello 2.
• Formare e guidare i team di supporto su richieste comuni.
• Collaborare con R&D per segnalare bug e proporre miglioramenti.

BUILD BEYOND POSSIBLE, WITH ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

Who we are looking for:

As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will play a key role in validating, testing, and supporting the software used in Caracol's additive manufacturing systems. You will work closely with the Customer Success, Engineering and R&D teams, helping troubleshoot technical issues and ensuring our customers achieve optimal performance from our technologies.

This role combines technical troubleshooting, software validation, and customer-facing support, offering exposure to cutting-edge automation and additive manufacturing systems.

Few examples of responsibilities:

• Perform software testing and validation on Caracol's additive manufacturing software, ensuring correct functionality and performance.
• Execute hands-on robotic 3D printing tests to validate toolpath planning, slicing processes, and printing quality on large-scale AM systems.
• Help technical support and field engineering teams in troubleshooting Level 2 software-related issues, occasionally interacting with customers.
• Provide internal training and guidance to support teams to help them handle common Level 1 technical requests.
• Collaborate with R&D and software teams to report bugs, suggest improvements, and collect feedback from real production use.

Ideal Background:

• Degree or Technical diploma (ITS) in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
• 1-3 years of experience in software testing and validation, as well as technical customer support, within the industrial automation or robotics sector.
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing is a strong plus
• Valid driving license and own vehicle required
• Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of programming languages (C++, C#, or Java) and scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, or Bash)
• Experience with industrial robots and basic knowledge of robot programming, preferably with KUKA, ABB or Universal Robots
