Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Milan is seeking a motivated Risk Consultant to join their growing M&A Team. In this role, you will audit ESG issues for firms, assess IT risks, and support due diligence processes regarding sustainable development.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree related to environmental fields and experience in risk management. Strong command of Italian and English is required, with additional languages like French and Spanish considered advantageous.

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
• Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.

The M&A Team in Italy is growing and looking for a motivated, Risk Consultant to join them! The team is currently going through a period of significant growth while servicing a large client base. Consultants work on a wide range of projects, including ESG management consultancy, advisory, and due diligence covering decarbonization.

Job Responsibilities

• Audit environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues to help companies identify reputational risks and opportunities for sustainable development.
• Support risk activities, focusing on IT risks.
• Assist on risk side due diligence for ESG and ESG strategy for asset managers and funds, including work related to the Sustainable Financial Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and ESG reporting for asset managers and corporates.
• Support project managers with research, report writing, proposal preparation and other requested activities.
• Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management and consulting environments.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Finance or other relevant disciplines.
• Working knowledge of Italian and English (C1 level); additional languages (French and/or Spanish) considered a plus.
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.
