Albelissa Engineering, IT & Digital Solutions in Torino is seeking a Hardware Electronics Designer to own RF front-end electronics and antenna hardware for our X-band AESA radar payload, with in-orbit rendezvous and proximity operations focus.

You will lead RF/MW design, coordinate subcontractors across digital/FPGA, mechanical, and PCB domains, and drive calibration, verification, and HW/SW integration to achieve in-space validation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronic, Telecommunications, or RF Engineering.
• 3+ years RF/microwave hardware design experience with built boards.
• Hands-on RF testing with VNA, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• RF PCB design with controlled impedance and RF layout using Altium or KiCad; RF sim in ADS/AWR/HFSS/CST.
• Experience owning a subsystem end-to-end and coordinating external suppliers.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for RF modeling.

• Lead RF front-end design and antenna hardware development for X-band radar.

• Define calibration methods for phased array and RF chain.
• Lead hardware integration verification and validation up to in-orbit product.
