Job summary

We are seeking a seasoned hotel leader for Meliá Hotels International in Milan. The role reports to the General Manager and oversees day-to-day operations across departments to ensure a superior luxury guest experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in senior hotel management within luxury properties, strong team leadership, and fluency in English and Italian. A third language is a plus, with a focus on staff development and continuous service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Resident Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, or Hotel Manager in luxury hotels.
• Experience in 5-star urban luxury hotels preferred.
• Strong ability to lead hotel operations with a guest-centric mindset and attention to detail.
• Proven people management, talent development, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
• University degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fluency in English and Italian; knowledge of a third language is a plus.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives, maximize guest satisfaction, and support the development of internal talent.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Resident Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, or Hotel Manager in luxury hotels.
• Previous experience in 5-star urban luxury hotels, preferably within the luxury segment.
• Strong ability to lead hotel operations with a guest-centric mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for excellence.
• Dynamic professional with a natural host profile, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
• Proven experience in people management, talent development, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills, results-oriented mindset, and the ability to perform effectively in demanding luxury hospitality environments.
• University degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required. Knowledge of a third language (Spanish, French, or German) will be considered a strong asset.
