Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Litigation Paralegal based in Italy to join a U.S. legal team. This fully remote role supports civil litigation from intake to trial, drafting pleadings and discovery, managing documents, and coordinating depositions and court filings.

You will work with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to ensure deadlines are met and records are accurate. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a paralegal role, strong drafting skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience as a paralegal, lawyer, or attorney.
• At least two years in a litigation paralegal role at a U.S. law firm.
• Strong experience with U.S. civil litigation procedures and case management.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery documents, subpoenas, and litigation correspondence.
• Experience managing discovery and document production.
• Experience preparing cases for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Familiarity with court filing systems and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support civil litigation matters from intake through trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and letters.
• Prepare exhibits, deposition materials, case summaries, and damages documentation.
• Manage discovery, document collection, review, and production.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date digital case files.
• Research legal and factual issues to support active matters.
• Use case management and document management systems to organize workflows.
