Ecosmic is hiring a Systems Engineer with a strong background in Space Engineering to join a fast-growing, international startup focused on Space Domain Awareness. The role blends systems trade-offs, software development, and technical project management across engineering, product strategy, and business development.

You will contribute to long-term strategy with the Product and Sales teams, reporting to the CPO and collaborating with the CEO and CCO.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Space Engineering or closely related field.
• 4+ years of systems engineering, mission analysis, flight dynamics, or space-related role.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and spacecraft operations.
• Ability to work independently on analyses and simulations.
• Interest in both technical and commercial sides of space.

Mansioni

• Perform system-level trade-offs to support product roadmap with customer and market feedback.
• Lead technical projects for commercial and institutional stakeholders (satellite integrators/operators, ESA, NATO).
• Conduct systems engineering research and analyses for SDA projects.
• Oversee procurement processes and supplier relationships.
• Produce technical documentation for customers and partners.
