Job summary

Cubbit is hiring a Mid-Level Site Reliability Engineer to join our Tech Operations team. You will ensure the geo-distributed platform stays healthy, reliable, and scalable, collaborating to automate operations and attack production challenges before users notice them.

Work spans software and infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on automation, observability, and robust CI/CD processes in a remote-friendly, fast-paced scale-up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Strong Linux administration skills and production environment know-how.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Pulumi preferred).
• Good networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, load balancing).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK/OpenSearch).
• Scripting in Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot production systems under pressure.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Keep Cubbit's geo-distributed platform healthy and performant.
• Build automation to reduce manual work and speed operations.
• Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, logging, and alerts.
• Investigate incidents and outages; perform root cause analysis.
• Partner with software engineers to design reliable systems.
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotation and reduce noise.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and efficiency across infra.
• Contribute to operational best practices and documentation.
• Help foster a healthy engineering culture.
