Plentific is seeking a Software Architect to guide the technical direction of the platform. You will bridge product vision with engineering execution, shaping scalable microservices, data pipelines, and APIs.

The role blends hands-on coding with leadership across design, reviews, and delivery, including AI-assisted development practices. You’ll collaborate with product managers, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality software at scale in a hybrid work

Competenze

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on Python and Django.
• Proven hands-on experience building and operating Django-based microservices at scale, in production on Kubernetes.
• Demonstrable experience using AI tools to assist Software Development and architectural documentation.
• Experience in a Tech Lead or Software Architect capacity, owning technical direction and guiding teams to delivery.
• Strong track record producing technical analyses with Product Managers to assess requirements and solutions.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems design, event-driven architectures, and inter-service communication patterns.
• Solid grasp of relational databases (PostgreSQL), including schema design and query optimisation.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Ability to work UK working hours (+/- 3 hours).
• Excellent communication and a collaborative, ownership-focused mindset.
