Job summary

SupportYourApp is seeking a T3 Support Engineer for a fully remote role from the EU. You will troubleshoot escalated issues across backend, databases, and integrations, and reproduce bugs in web, mobile, and API environments.

You will analyze logs, query production databases, and implement targeted fixes while documenting findings clearly. Candidates should have strong SQL skills, experience with PHP/JS/TS, and familiarity with AWS, Sentry, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues in a SaaS environment.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to query production databases.
• Experience with PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Sentry or similar error-tracking tools and Grafana monitoring.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues escalated from T1 across backend, databases, and integrations.
• Reproduce bugs across web admin consoles, mobile apps, and APIs.
• Analyze logs and metrics to determine root causes and craft fixes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data issues.
• Implement small, low-risk fixes and data corrections.
• Escalate complex issues with clear documentation to Engineering.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce escalations.
• Track incidents and verify fixes using monitoring tools.
