Job summary

Qonto is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer in the Identity Verification team to turn our KYC flow into a provider-agnostic service. You will spend about 60% on the backend and the web as your second surface, reporting to Nicola, the Engineering Manager.

You’ll own backend and web integrations, replace tightly coupled solutions with a single provider-agnostic layer, and help scale the verification flow across providers. Strong backend and React experience are valued, with Ruby as a plus.

Qualifications

• Backend services experience in production environments.
• Frontend web work with React.
• Experience integrating external providers or SDKs.
• Ability to navigate across backend and web with ownership.
• Ruby experience is a plus or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Make identity verification provider-agnostic by building a single service usable by all teams.
• Improve KYC conversion across backend and web paths.
• Own the web side of provider integrations and scale usage.
