Job summary

Qonto is seeking a Senior/Staff Go Backend Engineer to design, deploy and maintain scalable services powering a fintech product used by tens of thousands of users. You will join a cross-functional Product Engineering team and help shape architecture, resilience and performance, while mentoring peers and owning key platform components.

You will work with Go and Ruby on the backend, React.js on the frontend, and Kotlin/Swift for mobile apps, in a remote-friendly setup with offices in Paris,

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and operating scalable services and APIs.
• Proven ability to mentor peers and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Background in user-facing products and large-scale web apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain applications to meet team goals and stakeholder needs.
• Produce and ship high-quality, well-documented code.
• Co-own services architecture, resilience, scalability and robustness with Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Grow on technical leadership and mentorship of other engineers.
• Experience in user-facing products and architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
