SearchApi, a real-time SERP API, is hiring a Ruby Engineer focused on web scraping and browser automation. You’ll tackle anti-bot evasion, CDP internals, and high-concurrency challenges while shipping robust parsers and integrations across multiple search engines.

You’ll work in a remote, async-first environment, own end-to-end features from API wiring to documentation, talk to customers, review PRs, and help scale our real-time data platform to billions of requests.

Competenze

• Strong technical problem solving in browser automation, CDP internals, anti-bot evasion.
• Experience with data extraction, scraping, and building robust parsers.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Fix broken parsers under time pressure.
• Add new elements to existing search engine integrations.
• Build and ship new search engine integrations.
• Reverse engineer website protections and anti-bot systems.
• Debug browser automation issues (CDP, fingerprinting, evasion).
• Create and improve documentation pages.
• Develop landing pages and admin dashboard features.
• Review PRs and help test.
• Talk to customers directly to understand needs and API behavior.
