SearchApi is hiring an engineer to design and build proxy infrastructure from the ground up. You will work on residential, mobile, datacenter, and ISP proxies with IP rotation, session management, and intelligent routing.

You will own the core systems, optimize latency, implement geo-targeting, and ensure robustness at scale while maintaining clear documentation and strong communication with the team.

Competenze

• Deep understanding of TCP/UDP, sockets and routing at a low level.
• Ability to design and implement a reverse proxy from scratch, not just configure existing tools.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.
• Degree in CS or a related technical field.

Mansioni

• Build proxy infrastructure from scratch with high efficiency and low latency.
• Design and implement IP rotation, session management, and intelligent routing.
• Manage IP reputation and quality across proxy pools.
• Build bandwidth reporting and metering to track usage and stats.
• Write high-performance reverse proxy software, not just config management.
• Support multiple proxy types: residential, mobile, datacenter, ISP.
• Implement geo-targeting by country, city, and ASN.
• Optimize performance; minimize latency and maximize throughput.
• Work with networking fundamentals: DNS, routing, TCP/UDP tuning.
• Support SOCKS5, HTTP and HTTPS protocols with various session types.
• Implement monitoring, health checks and failover for proxy pools.
• Handle IPv4 and IPv6 considerations.
