Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a fulltime remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) system and DS1 platform across EMEA. The role demands clear communication with health care professionals, SUS and FSEs, and a strong technical background in medical devices.

The candidate should have engineering credentials (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian, with extensive experience in robotics and software troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or medical degree with relevant technical experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
4+ years in robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Experience with software troubleshooting.
Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a technical liaison.
Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
