Job summary

Proxify is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to lead the design and scaling of business‑critical web applications. You will optimise architectures, manage complex domain models, and champion sustainable codebases while integrating AI tooling to speed up boilerplate tasks.

You should have 5+ years of production Ruby/Rails experience, a solid grasp of architecture, and a track record in open source and PostgreSQL/Sidekiq.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with Ruby and Rails.
• Strong grasp of architectural patterns and domain modeling.
• Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflow.
• Active open‑source involvement or contributions to Rails ecosystem.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, and Docker in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain modular, high‑performing backend architectures.
• Adopt AI‑assisted coding practices to accelerate delivery.
• Improve query performance, indexing, and memory usage.
• Lead code reviews and enforce Ruby/SOLID standards.
• Promote open‑source practices in private repositories.
