Job summary

Arch Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our data engineering pod as an independent contractor. You'll design and optimize Python backends for large-scale SaaS, processing IoT data and building robust data pipelines.

Based remote to Eastern Europe, you will collaborate with cloud and data science teams, implement secure CI/CD, and deliver scalable solutions while owning data models, synchronization engines, and enterprise integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development in Python/Django.
• Experience with large, complex backend SaaS apps.
• Strong data modelling and scalable solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design backend features in Python for large-scale enterprise SaaS.
• Develop data models and pipelines from high-volume sensor data.
• Own a sync/reconciliation engine for distributed edge clients.
• Build integrations with customer enterprise systems.
• Ensure correctness with testing, CI/CD, and secure design.
