Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Spanish→English Pharmacovigilance Linguist based in Italy for a freelance role. You will translate, post-edit, and copy-edit high-volume safety documentation within a regulated life sciences context.

The engagement offers ongoing daily volumes, strict turnaround requirements, and remote work. Strong Spanish and English skills, CAT tools experience, and pharmacovigilance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in translation or linguistics with substantial translation training.
• At least 2 years of professional experience translating medical documentation with pharmacovigilance knowledge.
• Experience translating pharmacovigilance materials (SAE/AE, PSURs, SUSARs, ICAS, DSURs, RMPs) preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CAT tools and medical regulatory content.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines without extensions.
• Willingness to provide daily and/or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Translate pharmacovigilance and clinical-regulatory content from Spanish (Spain) into English (GB or US).
• Perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE) on safety and medical content.
• Conduct copy-editing reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Work on adverse event reports, clinical documents, and other pharmacovigilance materials.
• Handle high-volume assignments with strict, non-extendable turnaround times.
• Maintain daily availability to support production volumes.
• Use XTM or similar CAT tools effectively.
• Apply medical and pharmacovigilance terminology consistently.
