Job summary

The Language Doctors is seeking skilled Italian-to-English medical translators and editors for long-term, high-volume projects involving handwritten clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient-centered materials. Remote work is possible for freelancers or language experts with medical knowledge, offering meaningful, flexible opportunities.

Ideal candidates have native Italian and English proficiency, at least five years of experience in medical translation/editing, and familiarity with handwritten

Responsibilities

• Accurately decipher, translate and edit handwritten Italian medical documents into clear English translations.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and medical terminology across documents.
• Collaborate with project managers and QA teams to clarify illegible content and uphold editorial standards.
• Apply regulatory and stylistic conventions in line with client specifications and industry standards.
