EDAG Italia in Modena seeks a Junior Automotive Engineer to turn drawings into prototypes and to design and verify electrical wiring harnesses for automotive applications, on prototype vehicles and test benches.

You will install ECUs and sensors, configure electronic systems, support lab testing, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, while benefiting from ongoing training and remote working agreements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in prototyping workshops, motorsport environments or R&D laboratories within the automotive and/or industrial automation sectors.
• Programming skills as a plus (C C++ Python).
• Good ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience in precision electrical wiring and connector crimping.
• Experience using diagnostic and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems), as well as electrical and electronic laboratory tools (e.g., soldering irons, crimping tools, milling machines).
• Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, clear communication abilities, and the capability to work independently.
• Team-oriented mindset, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems and certification for working on electric vehicles (e.g., PES/PAV qualification) will be considered a plus.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
