EDAG Italia is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to join an infotainment program that integrates testing of a control unit for infotainment and connected services.

The role covers test specification, setup, automation, execution and reporting, with emphasis on automotive electronics testing and data analysis.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, informatics or IT-related engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in electrics/electronics testing, ideally in automotive.
• Autonomous on core tasks with strong testing methodology focus.
• Familiarity with CANalyzer, CAPL and vehicle bus systems (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).
• Experience with hardware/software test setup, automation and data collection.

Mansioni

• Write test specifications, documentation and test cases.
• Prepare and configure test setups and automation to improve efficiency.

We are looking for a skilled and autonomous Electronics Test Engineer to join a technically exciting program, testing an infotainment control unit that manages both infotainment and connected services.

• Test specification. Writing test documentation and test cases.
• Test preparation and automation. Preparing and configuring the test setup — hardware/software tools, harnesses, automated systems — and developing automated routines to increase testing efficiency.
• Test execution and analysis. Running functional and diagnostic/electrical tests, on bench or on vehicle, analyzing results, identifying root causes and collecting relevant data (logs, traces).
• Test reporting. Preparing reports, managing issues through bug-tracking tools, and attending periodic alignment meetings.

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, informatics or IT-related engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in electrics/electronics testing, ideally in automotive - you're already autonomous on core tasks.
• Solid knowledge of CANalyzer and CAPL (Vector toolchain); familiarity with vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) is a plus.
• Familiarity with communication technologies and wireless standards (short/long range) related to connected services; AWS knowledge is a plus..
• Strong passion for automotive, electronics and innovation.
• Good focus on testing methodologies, with attention to (connectivity) function delivery.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken).

Total compensation:

• Contract type: Permanent contract
• Gross annual salary (RAL): €30.000 – €40.000(determined on the basis of objective, neutral, and verifiable criteria)
• Smart working: individual remote working agreements
• Working hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility
