Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking Italian language experts for AI training and evaluation. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on shaping how AI understands and teaches Italian to millions of learners worldwide.

You will assess AI-generated Italian content, evaluate learner language across CEFR levels, and provide actionable feedback to improve educational quality and AI tutoring models. Join a flexible, asynchronous team contributing to cutting-edge language learning.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian.
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language.
• Strong written communication skills in Italian and English (C1/C2).
• Solid understanding of CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns.
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, phrasing issues, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally authentic Italian.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
