Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Project Buyer to join the Milan HQ team, supporting end-to-end subcontracting for large-scale energy projects. You will develop subcontracting strategies, manage vendor performance, and collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and Operations to ensure seamless procurement and execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement or related fields.
• Knowledge of contractual templates and principles.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end subcontracting activities in EPCI projects within the assigned Region and/or Category.
• Develop subcontracting strategies aligned with project schedules, installation sequences, and risk mitigation plans.
• Optimize cost structures while ensuring service reliability under tight project timelines.
• Monitor and assess Vendors performance through KPIs.
• Manage critical escalations through multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Work with Project Management, Engineering and Operations to align procurement and execution.
