Job summary

Prysmian in Milan is seeking a Logistics Buyer to join our HQ office in Milan. You will manage end-to-end procurement for logistics services across complex EPCI projects and lead multimodal transport negotiations.

The role requires fluency in English and Italian, a degree in Engineering or Supply Chain, and 5+ years in logistics procurement. Hybrid work in Milan with a competitive package and incentives aligned to performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics procurement.
• Experience with multimodal and heavy cargo logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for logistics services in EPCI projects.
• Lead negotiations for multimodal transport solutions.
• Coordinate transport of cable drums and freight forwarding.
• Ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.
• Monitor supplier performance via KPIs.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and Operations.
• Align procurement with project schedules and installation sequences.
